Just a couple of miscellaneous items for the Christmas list of the gamer who has to have one of everything!
Unfortunately this is a one-off art project from art student Darryl Smith. So we won’t be able to have one!
He’s taken the images from Halo 3 and used them to theme his controller and to produce an original Skull Xbox 360 controller cradle.
True, there are many Xbox mods and even other controllers that are extremely cool, but this one deserves a really high spot among them.
Amazing work Darryl!

Crystal Roc’s latest creation:
CrystalRoc, famous for its dazzling creations meant exclusively for the rich, were commissioned by Microsoft Australia to produce a fully crystallized XBOX for a PR campaign.
Fully studded with 11,520 Swarovski crystals, it took CrystalRoc 70 hours to complete the glittery gadget. But for all you gamers planning to possess one these Xboxes, the sad news is that it’s not meant for sale.
Although for interested parties, CrystalRoc has also taken on the responsibility of fully customizing the ipad with over 6000 individual Swarovski Crystals.
Happily this is available in two versions, one being 32GB while the other one is 64GB and you can pick up these ipads directly from CrystalRoc. (Prices on application!)
Happy Christmas
After noting the recent feedback from fans, Microsoft has changed the purchase amounts for points used to purchase items on the Xbox 360 to 5-dollar increments
At last you can now buy 400 point-increments ($5), instead of 500 point ($6.25) allowing for players to purchase most Xbox 360 Arcade games without having Microsoft points leftover.
I am wondering whether this might have anything to do with Microsoft being sued over the original Microsoft Points pricing structure in January 2010. When the court document stated that their methods were “fraud, breach of contract, negligence, unjust enrichment and unfair business practices.”
When asked, a Microsoft representative gave the following statement as the reason for the change, “We made these changes based on feedback from the Xbox LIVE community and are confident they’ll be happy with these new offerings.”

Hmmm… now that they’ve set a precedent I wonder how often they’ll listen to Xbox ‘community comments’ in future?
Do you think that Microsoft take enough notice of their customers views and opinions?
